Music Educator And Professor

Music Educator and Professor: Private Music Lessons

Are you looking for a music educator and professor for private music lessons? Private music lessons are something that anyone who loves music should be able to pursue. Though it may be more challenging to find qualified oboists with experience in the orchestral and solo setting, you have come to the right place.

Jillian Kouzel is adjunct Oboe Faculty at Saginaw Valley State University, teaching 13 applied lessons throughout the semester, covering orchestral, solo, and etude repertoire, reed making, and training on the English horn. She also offers private music lessons at her studio in Ann Arbor and in Brighton, Michigan. As a music educator and professor, she works with students ranging from beginners to high school level. Kouzel holds a position as 3rd Oboe/English Horn with the Lima Symphony Orchestra in Lima, Ohio. And she actively performs with the Michigan Philharmonic, Southwest Symphony Orchestra, Dearborn Symphony, Adrian Symphony, Ballet Theatre of Toledo, and the University of Michigan Theatre Department Pit Orchestra.

As a music educator and professor, Kouzel has a passion for performance and teaching. To that end, she aspires to pursue a lasting career as a chamber music oboist, orchestral musician, and professor of music. Private music lessons from a passionate music educator and professor will inspire the student to achieve their own musical goals.
