Kouzel is also adjunct Oboe Faculty at Saginaw Valley State University, teaching 13 applied lessons throughout the semester, covering orchestral, solo, and etude repertoire, reed making, and training on the English horn. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Jillian always had a passion for both performance as an orchestral musician and as a freelance musician who teaches. She's working on her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree from the University of Michigan, after recently completing a double Master’s degree in both Music Performance and Chamber Music.
